 Vada Pav Recipe 🍔






Ingredients :


Vadas


1 inch Ginger


10 Garlic Cloves


4 Green Chillies


3tbsp Oil


1/2tbsp Oil


1tsp Mustard Seeds


1tsp Cumin Seeds


1/2tsp Crushed Coriander Seeds


1/4tsp Hing


1 Sprig Curry Leaves


1/2tsp Turmeric Powder


1 Onion


3 Boiled Potatoes


1tsp Salt


1tsp Sugar


1/2 Cup Coriander leaves


Batter


1 & 1/2 Cup Chickpea flour


Salt as per taste


1/4tsp Turmeric Powder


1/8tsp Baking Soda


1 Cup Water


1tbsp Hot Oil


Oil for Deep Frying


Method:


1. Grind ginger and chillies to a coarse paste.


2. Smash the garlic Cloves.


3. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, crushed coriander seeds, curry leaves and let it crackle.


4. Add smashed garlic, hing and green chilli ginger paste. Saute for a few seconds.


5. Add chopped onion and saute till translucent.


6. Add salt, sugar and turmeric powder. Mix well again for a few seconds.


6. Add boiled potatoes mashed with a masher.


7. Add the coriander leaves and mix well.


10. Transfer mixture into a bowl and let it cool.


11. Make the vadas.


12. For the batter mix chickpea flour, salt, turmeric powder, baking soda and water little by little to make thick batter. Add hot oil and mix well.


13. Coat the vadas in this batter and deep fry for a 2 - 3 mins on medium flame.

14. Serve in pav with sukhi lehsun ki chutney and enjoy.
